Rose Lane – Dementia Unit Coordinator

Bentley Assisted Living, located in beautiful Sussex County, NJ, is currently searching for a coordinator for their secured dementia care unit.

You will act as a liaison of the Dementia Unit in the facility with other departments, the dementia community and the residents and families that the unit serves.
The Unit Coordinator supervises and ensures the supportive care and daily routine of the residents and their emotional, social and physical needs are met.
Experience in working with diagnosis of Alzheimer's and related dementia
Ability to assess changes in condition of dementia residents and address symptoms either medically or through other interventions is required
The Dementia unit Coordinator is a management position which entails administrative and 24 hour responsibility and accountability for the quality of care and services on the dementia unit.

Position Requirements:

Certified Dementia Practitioner

CNA license
Bachelors Degree preferred
Ability to relate positively, effectively and appropriately with residents, families, community members, volunteers and other facility staff.
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
Meet all health requirements as required by law.
