Our Team of Professionals

Dr. Sobti grew up in India, and completed medical school at Delhi University in New Delhi, India. He did his residency in psychiatry at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. Sobti continued his training with a fellowship in Brain Aging and Dementia at the National Institute on Aging, a division of the National Institutes of Health, in Bethesda, Maryland. He also completed a fellowship in Geriatric Psychiatry at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, New Hampshire. Dr. Sobti is board-certified in both Psychiatry and Geriatric Psychiatry, and is licensed in New Hampshire and Maine.

Denise has over 25 years of experience working with seniors and in the health care industry. Her proven leadership and dedication has led her to manage several assisted living and skilled nursing facilities throughout New England. As Executive Director for The Inn at Spruce Wood, Denise is responsible for managing all aspects of operations. Denise is an active member of the New Hampshire Association of Residential Care Homes and serves on the Board of Directors for ARCH. She received her B.S.W. in Social Work from the University of New Hampshire, Durham, and later completed her graduate work in Health Administration & Planning from New Hampshire College.

Abbey joined the Spruce Wood team in October of 2008. She graduated from Florida Atlantic University in 2005 where she earned a bachelors degree in Marketing. After graduating, Abbey returned to the Seacoast where she got her real estate license and worked in Residential Real Estate. Abbey started as a sales agent and was promoted to buyer specialist and marketer in 2006. As Marketing Director at Spruce Wood, Abbey is responsible for admissions, coordinating move-ins, and marketing events held at the Inn. She works alongside her team developing stimulating programs for both Residents and the outside community. She resides in Hampton with her husband Scott and Pug Marlee.

Scott has been at The Inn at Spruce Wood since 2006. His culinary career began in Hampton, NH while working at his parent’s restaurant. He pursued his career by attending Northern Essex Culinary Art Program. After graduating, Scott ventured out to discover his true talents working in fine dining restaurants and earned the title of sous-chef. Scott continued to work in the field as head chef for a retirement community in Massachusetts for nine years. Scott enjoys spending time with his family, watching baseball, and Golf. Scott resides in New Hampshire with his wife Sharon. He has two children Britney and Hayden and one Grandchild Parker.

Jan joined the staff at the Inn at Spruce Wood in October of 2006. After serving three years as Dining Room Manager, she was promoted to Activities Director. Jan’s responsibilities include: planning, organizing and implementing a program of activities designed to meet the social, spiritual, intellectual, emotional, educational, and physical needs and interest of the residents. Prior to her coming to Spruce Wood, she and her husband owned and operated two businesses in the Seacoast area for over 25 years. Jan currently resides in Newmarket with her husband Bob and their Cockapoo Chloe.

Nick has been a part of the Spruce Wood team since July of 2007. He has been in the maintenance field for over 20 years, and has extensive experience in all aspects of facility maintenance. Nick’s maintenance background includes five star hotels, resort hotels, and retirement communities. Nick lives in Raymond, NH with his wife Kathy.

Allyson Lampert came to The Inn At Spruce Wood in September of 2009. She has spent over 9 years in the field of nursing. As a licensed nursing assistant, she excelled at providing quality, compassionate care to all residents and demonstrated strong leadership in the retirement community at which she worked for over many years. Allyson started as a charge nurse at the Inn At Sprucewood where she showed her adaptability, leadership, good assessment skills and caring nature for all residents. In January 2010, she was promoted to Resident Care Director. Allyson works with her nursing staff and management team to develop and maintain plans of care for all residents on our assisted living and Rose Lane units. Allyson resides in Exeter with her husband Michael and their three dogs.

Diana has been with The Inn at Spruce Wood since March of 2004. Before coming to the Inn, Diana worked from home, raising her children and running a Bookkeeping business. As Business Office Manager, her position encompasses many areas. From handling all accounting business to human resources to managing the front office, Diana enjoys the day to day diversity of her position. Making the Inn a warm and comfortable environment for residents and employees has always been an important priority for her. Having grown up in the Seacoast area, Diana now resides in Barrington with her husband and three teenagers.
