Senior Management, LLC is a wholly owned subsidiary of Kaplan Development Group, LLC - a company with a wealth of background and a heritage of success in the assisted and independent living industry.Led by Glenn Kaplan, founder and former Chairman and CEO of Kapson Senior Quarters Corporation, Senior Management, LLC is a rapidly expanding organization whose mission is to provide the finest quality assisted living with an emphasis on the important family values of compassion, integrity and respect. Mr. Kaplan's distinguished career in assisted living began in 1970.

After establishing Senior Quarters and becoming its Chief Executive Officer, he oversaw the growth of the company to 27 properties located throughout the U.S. east coast. Under his leadership, Senior Quarters earned a reputation as one of the premier assisted living companies in the world. Among the keys to its success was the fact that Kapson Senior Quarters Corporation maintained complete control over virtually all growth initiatives of the company, including performing its own site development, implementing innovative marketing programs internally, and managing each property personally to ensure optimal quality at every Senior Quarters assisted living facility. In October 1996, Mr. Kaplan and his management team initiated a public offering of shares in Kapson Senior Quarters Corporation.

Then, in April 1998, the company was acquired by Lazard Frères Real Estate Investors, LLC.
After a hiatus of approximately three years, Mr. Kaplan returned to the assisted living industry and established Senior Management, LLC. Today, the company is focused on growth and is continually exploring new projects that will bring its experienced leadership in senior living and its unwavering quality commitment to senior residents and their families. Kaplan Development/Senior Management, LLC owns and operates numerous senior living residences located in several states. Within each Senior Management community, residents enjoy superior amenities including beautifully appointed apartments and restaurant- style dining, along with a wide range of interesting, fun and educational activities, as well as a comprehensive program of customized care.
